Denture Services

We offer the following denture services with you in mind.  When you come in for an appointment, we will assess your situation and discuss which option, if any, would be most appropriate for you.

Dentures are removable teeth that provide support to the face, which can aid in speaking, eating, and making facial expressions.  Partial dentures replace one or some of your missing teeth, while complete dentures replace all of the natural teeth in the upper or lower jaw.  They are usually made from acrylic but can also include porcelain or metal for added support.

We custom fit each denture for the patient so that they feel confident in their new smile.  Dentures give definition and structure to your cheeks and lips, which helps you to eat and speak.  Call us today to discuss your options..

Upper and Lower Dentures (Complete Dentures)

Complete or full dentures replace all of the natural teeth in your mouth in the upper or lower jaw.  If you require removal of your natural teeth, you will first have to wait for your gums to heal.  Because the gums tend to shrink slightly after removing your teeth, waiting for them to heal will provide the best fit for the dentures.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture replaces one or some missing teeth.  It completes your smile and may help improve speech.  A partial denture can also aid in the consumption of food.  Using metal clasps, a partial denture may be secured to your natural teeth.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures allow you to have full use of your teeth without waiting for your gums to heal.  They are fitted once your natural teeth have been removed.  The downside to immediate dentures is that they may need readjusting, because your gums tend to change size over time, particularly within the first six months.

Upper Dentures

If you require a new set of teeth solely on your upper jaw, then upper dentures may be the best option.  They are usually easier to adapt to than a complete denture and are crafted using the same materials.

Over Dentures

An over denture is similar to a complete denture.  However, an over denture does not require all of the teeth to be removed.  Instead, the remaining natural teeth are employed to support the over denture, which makes eating an easier process, because less shifting will occur.  These dentures are more costly and will require greater time, both from the dentist and the patient, to craft them.

Implant Retained Dentures

Implant Retained Dentures are for people who have lost all of their teeth in their upper or lower jaw.  The denture is supported by implants, which provide incredible preservation and stability, making the everyday necessities of life a breeze.

An implant retained denture can either be removable or fixed.  If it is fixed, your dentist will be the only one capable of removing it.

Using as little as two implants, we can craft a removable denture.  Using more implants, we are able to construct a fixed denture or a fixed bridge, which is the closest thing to having your own teeth.  You’ll be able to speak, eat, and smile with ease.
